Movement & Meditation Circles
Currently on hiatus for the Summer.
Circles will resume in Fall 2021.
As someone with perfectionist tendencies and who likes to be in control, my ego was standing in my way of channeling my own intuition and brilliance. The harder I worked, the more stuck I felt. It was unsustainable and exhausting.
Once I started training to be a Life Coach, I was able to start piecing together my own solution, a combination of awesome Coaching Techniques and Questions with all of my Movement Training from my other skills as a life-long mover and Certified Pilates Instructor. Now when I have burning questions or feel stuck, I resource my own body and my own intuition to keep moving forward and take things one step at a time.
Movement & Meditation Circles are my way of sharing these techniques with those who seek to build a better connection with themselves in a group setting. Typically held twice a month around the New Moon and Full Moon, these circles are designed for Actors, Creatives, and Entrepreneurs to cultivate the connection between their heads (intellect), hearts (emotion), and groins (creativity) in a nurturing and supportive space. Modeling these circles on the Lunar Cycle, helps us learn at a visceral level how nature is supporting us in living in a circular way. There is room for rest at every phase of the journey!!
NEW MOON CIRCLES– The NEW MOON corresponds with New Beginnings. During these circles, our movement will always be a little slower and more thoughtful. We will put our focus on internal reflection in our Meditation and Journaling exercises and then use the movement to integrate these themes and drop into the wisdom of our bodies more thoroughly. Our theme is always some version of “Letting Go.”
FULL MOON CIRCLES– The FULL MOON corresponds with Sharing and Visibility and is the opposite side energetically from the New Moon. These circles will be high energy with the goal of collectively building energy and confidence to put ourselves out there and communicate our gifts and talents to the world. You can expect this circle to build a bit more actual heat (we will sweat) and may involve some partner or group generated movement activities. Expect to grow your power and confidence during this Circle.
How A Circle Works
During a circle, we come together (via Zoom for now) for community healing. In this space, while I am leading, I acknowledge the power of each and every individual in attendance. We are there to learn from each other and the space in non-hierarchical.
The circle opens with introductions of all in attendance, intention setting and guidance on the Circle’s theme.
I then lead a meditation and journaling practice to further clarify how we want to be moved during the physical practice.
Then I lead a Movement practice designed to speak to the particular theme of our Circle.
We end with a time for sharing and closure.
How to Join
→ All Circles last 90 minutes.
→ Wear comfortable clothing you can move in – think exercise or rehearsal clothes.
→ Bring a journal and something to write with.
→ If you have a yoga or exercise mat, please bring that as well.
→ Contribution: Pay What You Want: $15 – $30 Recommended Donation

I have an injury or physical restriction. Will I be able to fully take part in these Circles?
Absolutely. Since the goal of this workshop is to get you more in touch with your own body, you will be 100% encouraged to go at your own pace and modify movement whenever necessary. If you need assistance with a modification, I am always happy to help. I have 20+ years experience as a Pilates Instructor and am trained to work with clients who have injuries and physical restrictions.
Is this workshop for women only?
Movement & Meditation Circles are open to men, women, and non-binary and other gender non-conforming folks as I believe this work is powerful and useful for all genders to experience. I believe in holding a space that is free of bias and supportive to all. If an attendee behaves in a manner that does not uphold this standard, they will be asked to leave.
I am not available for the entirety of the workshop. Can I still attend?
If you have to be a few minutes late or leave a few minutes early, that can usually be accommodated. Please email me ahead of time to let me know so that we can make sure your entry and exit is the least disruptive to the group.
I cannot attend LIVE. Will this be recorded?
Movement & Meditation Circles are only available for LIVE attendance. No recording will ever be shared. This is to protect the privacy of all present so that we can have the most nurturing and healing space possible.
